How to Install a 35mm Concealed Hinge — Official Eligo Guide

Tools You''ll Need

• 35mm forstner drill bit
• Drill with depth stopper
• Phillips screwdriver (PH2)
• Pencil & ruler
• Eligo 35mm concealed hinge + baseplate

Installation Steps

1. Mark the hinge cup hole. Eligo standard: hole center 22.5mm from door edge, 95–105mm from top and bottom.
2. Drill the 35mm forstner hole. Depth 12.5–13mm. Use a stopper for consistency.
3. Install the cup into the door. Two-point screw fixing with moderate torque — don''t over-tighten.
4. Install the baseplate on the cabinet body. Edge distance depends on overlay type (full, half, or inset) — refer to the Eligo spec sheet.
5. Clip the hinge onto the baseplate. Eligo hinges use a tool-free clip mechanism.
6. Perform 3D adjustment. Turn the vertical, horizontal, and depth screws to equalize door gaps.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

• Forstner hole too deep. The hinge can''t sit flush; the door won''t close cleanly.
• Screws over-tightened. Can push the plate out or strip the wood threads.
• Wrong overlay offset. The door will collide with the neighboring cabinet.
